Jennings Kia achieves Motability accreditation

Gary Irwin has taken on the role of Motability specialist at the Jennings Kia dealership on Parsons Road in Washington, Tyne and Wear.
In addition to selling the entire new Kia car range to customers across Wearside, the dealership is now able to cater for Motability customers who are entitled to a vehicle through the Motability programme.
Sales executive, Gary Irwin, 25, from Wallsend, has been nominated by his manager, Wayne Pritchard, to take over as Motability specialist at the dealership after successfully completing an intense training course which was co-ordinated by Kia and entailed both practical and written assessments.
Gary, who was previously employed by Nissan, started his career with the Jennings Motor Group as a sales executive in 2008, after spotting a vacancy in sales on the company’s website.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for me to progress my career and a challenge I am very much looking forward to,” said Gary.
In addition to selling the popular and competitively priced Kia range which includes everything from compact vehicles including the all-new Rio, the all-new Picanto, the Soul and Venga and family hatchbacks including the cee’d, cee’d SW and pro_ceed models to practical and stylish multi-purpose vehicles including the Carens and Sedona and the powerful yet efficient sport utility vehicles including the Sportage and Sorento, Gary is now responsible for advising and assisting Motability customers wanting to purchase a vehicle through the programme.
Customers in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC or DVLA), or who receive War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMA) or who currently drive a government trike or mini, could be entitled to purchase a brand new car through the Motability programme at Jennings Kia in Washington.
“We have a selected number of vehicles available through the Motability programme with various models in the Picanto, Rio, Venga and Soul range, available with a Nil Advance Payment,” added Gary.
